Many clients of the baby boomer generation are downsizing, but our client found themselves in need of an addition to accommodate their expanding family.  Life has become filled with many large celebrations with their adult children and grandchildren.

The addition was based on an open plan concept that would incorporate easy access to an existing terrace and pool.  An existing kitchen and den were gutted and new structure was added to accommodate the open plan, including an addition.  New custom cabinets and millwork were added.  A beverage/coffee bar was intentionally designed into the dining area, outside of the kitchen, for ease of access.  It has a clear ice maker and refrigerator integrated with panels that match the millwork.

An abundance of windows and a neutral color palette for finishes blend with the previous renovations that were completed in years prior.  Accents of blue in the custom furnishings, window treatments and rugs reflect the poolscape.  Custom performance fabrics on the furniture and L.V. plank floor add a carefree family and pet friendly atmosphere.
